“Fluffy, loopy, woolly!”
Years ago, we knitted mammoth woolly wreaths using loop stitch for our holiday shop display. They were such fun, we created a pattern for home-sized versions! Nice hung singly or in pairs, indoors or out (protect from inclement weather), the wreaths are a cozy accent all winter long. Our pattern includes instructions for a loopy garland, too—charming wrapped around your tree, over the mantle, down the banister, or anywhere you’d like a little woolly magic!
For this Woolly Wreath, we used Wool and the Gang’s . A super-chunky-weight yarn, Crazy Sexy Wool is a single ply of Peruvian wool—soft, squishy, stretchy, and so fun on the needles! Plus, Wool and the Gang sources this cozy yarn from happy South American sheep, with consideration to reduce the impact on the environment. Woolly magic, indeed!

FINISHED SIZES
Small wreath: Approx. 14"/36cm finished diameter on 12"/30cm wreath form.
Large wreath: Approx. 20"/51cm finished diameter on 18"/46cm wreath form.
YARN
Small wreath: 2 skeins (87 yds/79m each), yarn held single.
Large wreath: 3 skeins (87 yds/79m each), yarn held single.

NEEDLES
US 15 (10mm) needles (straights recommended).
NOTIONS
Wreaths: 12 (18)"/30 (46)cm boxed wire wreath form.
Optional: 3 (4) yds/m of 4"/10cm strips of muslin fabric.
Blunt darning needle to finish.
