If you wish to knit, but maybe are a little tired and don't want to have to think too much, then 'Float' is the perfect project. We have made a number of these shawls and it is a reliable knit, easy-going, relaxing, and undemanding.
'Float' is a light, yet warm shawl made by knitting two luxury yarns together into a long and wide rectangular shape. The simple stocking stitch design means no great knitting knowledge is required. By folding the piece in half and sewing a simple side seam, a beautiful shawl is created that can be worn in a number of ways.
Kit includes
1 Hank Manos Mariana 2ply
4 Balls of Kidsilk Mohair (these are knitted holding 2 strands together)
1 x Handmade with Love Tag
1 x Float Shawl Printed Knitting Pattern
Needles are an optional extra. Pattern requires 4mm needles.
If you choose the needles as part of the kit you will receive 4mm X 60cm circular needles. This is just to accommodate the number of stitches, you will still knit backwards and forwards - not in the round.
